CARDS SECTION

The cards section is one of the most popular sections of The Woolston Club! 

We are a mixed group of people of all ages and abilities who like to have fun and who enjoy a game of cards. This year we went through the Inter club season unbeaten, this is the first time this has been done for 112 years!

We welcome people of all ages and abilities.

We play Euchre every Tuesday night starting at 7pm.

Every Sunday we take part in a club tournament, playing Euchre or Cribbage, at 12.30pm. This takes place at different chartered clubs across Christchurch.

In the Winter months from May to August we have a team of 26 players, consisting of 9 pairs of Euchre and 4 pairs of Cribbage players, all competing against other chartered clubs in Christchurch. 

Both the Cribbage and Euchre players take part in the South Island Team of Eight Tournaments, held at different South Island clubs.

We also have players representing The Woolston Club in the National Euchre and Cribbage tournament held either in the North or South Island each year.
